Where are we located?
Situated in the middle of Caloundra, we are less than 10 minute walk away from Bulcock Beach, Coles and Woolworths supermarkets, and a large variety of restaurants. See the map and details at our contact page.
Are you close to the water?
We are an absolute waterfront building with a private boardwalk right on Pumicestone Passage. There are no roads or public walkways in front of us and you can fish from our boardwalk.
Bulcock Beach is our closest patrolled beach and is an easy 10 minute walk. Kings Beach is the closest patrolled surf beach and is a pleasant 25 minute walk along the waterfront.
What does completely non-smoking mean?
We are a completely non-smoking resort and smoking is not permitted throughout the entire resort. The interiors of our apartments, patios and balconies, pool area, common areas and waterfront boardwalk are all non-smoking areas.
For our guests who do like to smoke, there are designated smoking areas with chairs, tables and ashtrays for you. Please note that charges apply to guests smoking outside of the designated areas.
Is wifi internet free and included?
Internet access is another way to relax, and we take our relaxing seriously. WiFi internet access is provided completely free of charge in all apartments and common areas. We do not have any arbitrary limits on speed or downloads.
Our connection to the internet is provided by multiple business-grade services that we continuously monitor and regularly upgrade to ensure that you get a great connection.
Do you have a heated pool?
Absolutely! We have three separate pools and a spa in our pool enclosure. The spa tub is heated to approximately 36 degrees, and one pool is heated to approximately 29 degrees. These two pools are heated all year.
Is parking free and is there a height limit?
Every apartment has 1 allocated car space in the carpark under the building. Waterfront apartments have 2 allocated car spaces (see our apartments page for details).
Although our motel rooms do not have any guaranteed parking in the undercover carpark, we will always allocate a spare parking space when one is available.
The car park has a height limit of 2.0 metres. It is securely locked at night time but it is left open during office hours. There is a small external off-street visitor parking area which can be used by over-height vehicles.
Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, but no. We know that you love your fur family but no pets are permitted inside units or on the grounds of the resort. Registered service animals are welcome.
When is reception open?

How do I check-in after reception is closed?
We will leave your keys in an envelope in a key safe outside reception, and send the safe code to you via SMS. Please call us and let us know if you will be arriving after hours. See our contact page for reception hours.
What payment types do you accept?
You can pay using a bank transfer, credit card or cash. We accept Mastercard and Visa credit cards with no surcharge. American Express is accepted with a 3.2% surcharge which is our average cost of acceptance for these cards.
Is a security bond required?
A $200 security bond via a credit card pre-authorisation is required on check-in for all reservations of an apartment. Motel rooms require a $100 security bond on check-in. For more details, please see our page on credit card pre-authorisations.
Do all units have water views?
All of our apartments have water views. Our standard and refurbished units have partial water views from the living room and balcony or patio. Our ocean view units have full ocean views, and our waterfront units have panoramic ocean views.
We advertise our motel rooms has having no views. Although some motel rooms are on ground floor in front of the pools and have water views, and some rooms have partial views from the balcony, we unfortunately cannot guarantee water views for motel room bookings.
Standard vs Superior? How are they different?
Our superior units are refurbished apartments with newer furnishings and facilities. Most or all of the furniture in the unit has been replaced with new furnishings and the unit itself will have been either fully or partially refurbished. Some apartments have completely new kitchens.
Although our standard units are still clean and functional, the furnishings are older. We are in the process of upgrading all of our apartments, but until the entire apartment has been brought up to a superior class, it is still considered a standard unit.
Both standard and superior apartments have lovely partial water views with views of Pumicestone Passage from the balcony and some of the living area of the unit.
Do the units have kitchens?
All of our apartments are self-catered, and have a full size kitchen with large fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave oven and all necessary pots, pans and utensils. We supply starting pack including detergents, dish cloths and tea towel.
Our motel rooms have only tea and coffee making facilities, not a full kitchette. These facilities include a bar fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave oven but do not have a sink. Water is available from the bathroom – we supply a basin for washing up. We supply all necessary detergents, dish cloths and tea towel.
Do the units have laundries?
All of our apartments are self-catered and have a full size laundry wth both washing machine and clothes dryer. We supply a starting pack of laundry detergent.
Our motels do not have a laundry and there is no guest laundry on-site. There is a coin laundy less than 10 minutes walk from the resort.
Are extra beds available?
All apartments can have at most one extra person for $25/night which includes a quality rollaway bed with all linen and towels.
It is not possible to add an extra bed to our motel rooms.
Are baby cots and high chairs available?
Portacots and highchairs are available for $10 per night with a maximum charge of $40. This price includes linen, bath towels and face washers.

Do you service units daily or weekly?
All of our apartments are self-catered and serviced weekly. For any stay of 8 nights or longer we will complete a mid-stay full service clean of the apartment including change of linen. For multi-week stays we will service the apartment weekly.
If you would like extra services, or a daily light service, we can provide that at a small cost. Please inquire with reception.
All of our motel rooms have a daily light service where we make the beds, replace towels and amenities as required, and empty the rubbish bins.
